Facilities & Maintenance Executive

Full-time, Permanent

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Plan, manage and execute overall maintenance, repair and the day-to-day upkeep of the Church’s properties, facilities, and equipment with regular inspections including work carried out by term contractors and service providers.
  • Source and manage facilities’ suppliers and service providers, establish an effective maintenance program.
  • Provide operational and logistics support for the Church’s various daily activities including regular church events such as Sunday Services, Baptism, Holy Communion.
  • Ensure all facilities and equipment’s availability and in good working conditions.
  • Provide logistical support to the church office such as computer and telecommunication system hardware purchase and set-up.
  • Execute facilities management related activities & administration such as developing policies, SOP related to facilities & leasing matters, booking of meeting rooms, church van, attend promptly to feedback and tenancy related issues.
  • Supervise church-keeper and appointed cleaning contractors.  Perform minor repairs, including minor electrical, plumbing and temporary repairs in an emergency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and statutory obligations in relation to the church properties and facilities as well as workplace safety and health requirements.
  • Prepare OPEX and CAPEX budget.

 

 

 

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Estate Management or Engineering with at least 5 years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of building maintenance & regulations, general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, audio/visual systems and D.I.Y. building works
  • Proficient in MS Office such as Word and Excel
  • Good organizational, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Willing to work weekday nights and weekends.
